THE INTERNET.

This is the first comic I’ve drawn since June last year.  Pretty sad huh.  I’m liking how it turned out though.  I don’t know what to call these but they’re the first slice of life comics I’ve done I think.  Each will be one page long.  I have several captured already, but this is the first complete.  I’m guessing most will revolve around domestic life, maybe work.  Anyway c & c  welcome.

It’s in the 80’s today.

what is happening to hannah in the last square? is that her overcome by your love, transformed from super angry to super stoked about getting married in a pyramid?
and also, probably more curious if you did have any luck finding a girl on the internet who wants to get married in a pyramid? you should try craigslist. it’s a modern bottomless pit.

is this an artificial pyramid?? built in the bushwick fringe out of plastic milk jugs with a cereal box floor. i don’t know what this cereal + marriage interest is but it could be a great theme!

so are these slices of life true to life? i’ve never seen hannah that color. (not saying much)

I haven’t done any comics in a long time, since I decided to taking acting more seriously… I wish I had finished learning to draw before I quit, so I could just randomly bang one out from time to time, haha.

  4. […] two, which were pretty rushed. But not bad considering I haven’t drawn a comic since that internet one. I sort of did the Lebbeus Woods thing where all the text is at the beginning and only images […]

PAGE SEVEN

Page seven.  FACT: Southwest Fiefdom is kinda like Northeast Kingdom.

PAGE 06 – Thom A. Hawk

Page 06.  I struggled mightily with this one.

Tomahawk City, NY – Page One

So here’s page one.  It was kinda hard to draw, some of you may recognize it from my neighborhood.  Also the logo/title was a big reason I procrastinated on this page, I was reworking it here and there.  I’m definitely reading too much orc stain bc it looks way too much like a crappy version of orc stain or crappy metal writing hahaha.  Jesus it’s silly.  Anyways, we’ll see…  I’ll set up a comic page for this comic that has all the pages on it next.  Oh wait,

HERE IT IS!

Tomahawk City, NY – PG 05

Page 5 done.  I’m almost on schedule, (this should have been done on Thursday)  I enjoyed drawing the little disembodied heads for this sequence.  However, I hate the last panel, eventually I hope to redraw it, probably not until the other pages are done.  UGH.  BLEAH!!!

T.C.NYC – PG 04.

Page 4.  I have determined that this is the strangest comic I’ve ever written/drawn.  I have also realized large blocks of text are one of the most annoying things to draw ever, however I like hand lettered comics.

TC/NY – Page Three?

Page 3 or 2 (still figuring it out).   I was cracking up drawing this page for some reason, at one point my thought process was “if there is an open hand, put a tomahawk in it.”

Penciled 4 other pages and started inking one.  Hopefully I can finish it tonight.
